We ask you to think about our feedback guidelines when you’re writing a comment to a service. If your feedback doesn’t meet these guidelines, a member of the team will let you know and support you to re-write your feedback.
Fair- We ask that you don’t single out, name or target any one person in your feedback. Make sure your comments talk about the service you received rather than anything personal about a worker. Please see below for an example-
OK– “I didn’t feel like the worker understood me and I didn’t feel they helped”
NOT OK– “Sarah at this service is rubbish at her job and didn’t help me.”
Find Get Give does not tolerate cyberbullying or trolling.
Truthful- Please stick to the facts when you’re writing a comment, remember that feedback is given to help improve a service, as well as letting other young people know what to expect.
Safe- Find Get Give is committed to making sure this site is a safe space for everyone. Any comments that include swearing, sexually explicit or abusive language, language that encourages illegal or harmful behaviour, or any other content that is seen as unsafe will not be published.
If Find Get Give has any reason to believe that you or someone else is at serious risk of harm based on what you have written, staff will take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of you or others. This could involve contacting relevant people or services, including emergency response services like the police.
Clear- Remember that people of different ages and abilities may be reading your feedback. Try and keep language simple and clear and stay away from using complicated words or slang.
Helpful- Please make sure that the feedback you give is helpful to the service. If you experienced any issues when you visited a service, try and include what they could have done to improve things in your feedback. This is more useful than just saying you had a bad experience.
